Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
What is EFT?
EFT is a powerful self-help method based on research showing that emotional trauma contributes greatly to disease. Clinical trials have shown that EFT can quickly reduce the intensity of a negative emotion related to memories. Once the distress is reduced or removed, the body can often rebalance itself, and accelerate healing.
EFT uses elements of Cognitive Therapy and Exposure Therapy, and combines them with Acupressure, in the form of fingertip tapping on acupuncture points. There are currently over 100 research studies that demonstrate EFT is effective for phobias, anxiety, depression, PTSD, pain, test anxiety, food cravings, and other problems.
Who can EFT help?
As a trained EFT practitioner, I love working with women entrepreneurs who are able to see what they want but don’t know how to get there. I use EFT to help them uplevel to so they can get past that glass ceiling and the blocks they are coming up against.
I also work with children, if I have seen their parents first, because research shows the best outcomes come from working with the parents as well as the child.
EFT can help a wide variety of people with a range of different struggles.
